About Me

The name of a business says a lot. Midnight Magic Studios started in 2001 while I was working at a major cable network. I did wedding and event videos on the side and usually ended up doing my best work at night around midnight, as my wife calls it, my magic hour. Thus began Midnight Magic Studios. In 2006, I decided to make this my full-time occupation. Someone once said “Find something you love to do and you’ll never work another day in your life”. Since 2006, I have not worked a day yet. I simply have a love of shooting and editing video.
I have a very simple approach to wedding and event videos, my assistant and I use a cinematic style. This creates a video that you will cherish forever. There will be no fast forwarding to get to the good parts, no dancing graphics or cutesy special effects. My goal is for you to have a classic video that captures your personality and reflects the emotions and happiness of your special day. Only the video can bring back the voices, the laughter and the music. It preserves moments to be relived and to be shared with people who weren’t able to attend (or who weren’t even born yet).
I have been a member of WEVA since 2002. WEVA is the largest nonprofit trade association representing professional wedding and event videographers. WEVA members are dedicated video producers who specialize in the art of documenting and preserving important social and corporate events and presentations. Members are also held to a very high standard and code of ethics.
I have also been certified as a Apple Final Cut Pro Level 1 editor. Final Cut Pro is the industry standard in digital editing. It is the editing program used by many Hollywood studios on major motion pictures and on some of your favorite television shows.
